The diet and you are a TEAM!

I posted the following on Rosemary Conley's online slimming club Community Chat board:
What do I mean by this? Well, let me use my work as an example! I'm part of a team of 4 bakers, each of us have specific times we work, but we are a team. I'm the afternoon baker - the others are either morning or they will do the odd afternoon if I'm on a day off or on holiday etc. Now if the morning bakers don't finish what they are supposed to finish, I do their job as well as my own - now I would say this isn't good team work (although on busy days it can't be helped). They are not working efficiently. Now this is the similar to dieting!
Rosemary's diets DO work - they really do BUT you have to be part of the team. The diet will only work for you, if you work with the diet plan. If you slack here and there, don't fill in your food diary (as I haven't been doing lately and not lost any weight), don't follow the recipes closely, nibble here, nibble there, the diet isn't going to work because you're not being part of the team!
There are some teams you really don't want to be part of - it may be very very difficult, but they won't do you any good! I can't be part of Team Crisps - why? Because once I start I can't get enough of them - they are an addiction! Last Monday I visited my parents and my dear dad buys multipacks of crisps and gives them out (as multipacks, not just one bag from them)! On Monday he was trying to give me some ready salted multipack of Smiths crisps, plus some other multipack of flavoured crisps. The flavoured crisps had ingredients I can't eat (wheat and dairy), so I said we would have the flavoured crisps (to keep him happy because he just enjoys giving people things - he's a darling)! I don't want to be part of Team Crisps because I know once I start I could eat all 7 packs in the multipack and my poor hubby and son wouldn't get a look in!
So come on folks - the diet WILL work if you work WITH the diet! Come on be part of TEAM DIET (or LIFESTYLE CHANGE/WEIGHT LOSS PLAN - whatever you want to call it).
To date I have lost 3st 8lb (50lb/ 22.67Kg) by working WITH the diet plan. I'm now in the green section of the BMI charts. It has taken me a fair few years to get into TEAM DIET mode, but once I 'joined' and worked WITH the plan, I lost the weight!
No excuses now - come on board and let's work together with the plan we're on!

Another money incentive

Why not use an accumulative total when losing weight! Let me show you below:

(I'm using GBP £ as I'm a Brit)

5lb lost = £5
10lb loss = £10 (plus the £5 = £15)
15lb lost = £15 (plus the £15 = £30)
20lb loss = £20 (plus the £30 = £50)
25lb loss = £25 (plus the £50 = £75)
30lb loss = £30 (plus the £75 = £105)
35lb loss = £35 (plus the £105 = £140)

Edited on 22nd Sept 2019 - I've lost 49lb so far!

You may not be able to afford that amount, but you work the totals (rules) as your budget will allow!

9lb (NINE POUNDS) to go

I have 9 pounds to go before I reach 9 stone! I would love to be just under that - OK between 8st 7 and 8st 13lb!

Have a week off work this week so I  have my menus planned out and I also need to drink more water and do more exercise and hope I can shed a few pounds this week - I stayed the same last week!

BOO HOO - this is now 9th May 2021 and I'm now 11st 0lb! Yep, I've gained weight! Looking at my YouTube Dieting channel and seeing if I can resurrect is and post regularly on it!

Onward and downward!
