GAIN!

Gained 2 lbs this week - oh well hardly surprising considering I have been pigging out!

Onward and downward!

No change

For the past 3 weeks I have seen the scales  stay still - no change whatsoever! But who can I blame?

Can I blame the scales?
Can I blame the cat?
Can I blame the mouse my cat caught the other week?

NOPE!

The only person I have to blame is me, moi, mi...!

I've not been sticking ridgedly to the menu plan  therefore I am wondering if drastic action is needed for the next week...

I need to do the Rosemary Conley Kickstart again by dropping my calories to 1200 (instead of 1400) - and see if I can shed a few pounds before going to Scotland a week on Monday (25th June)

I have been exercising daily (except Wed and Sun - my days off)

I have been using this DVD on the days I have been doing aerobics and toning (my legs are starting to look great btw)

Funnily enough the DVD I have been doing also comes as part of a 3 pack of DVDs - which I also really really like! They are great value for money when bought in a pack (I bought mine individually as they were released!)

If you are reading this and you need to shed a few pounds (and you live in the UK or Region 2) I would highly recommend purchasing any of the mentioned DVDs and start shaking your bootie to the music!

OK until next time - keep moving and a'grooving

Some Motivation - Never Give Up; Never Surrender

[I posted the following on the RosemaryConleyonline.com slimming club forum on 14th Feb 2010!]

For all those who my be struggling because the weigh-loss has slowed down or even halted - don't panic!

I weighed this morning and I have lost zero, zippo, zilch, nothing, nil, nada BUT I'm not giving up! I won't lose anything if I give up! - Look forward rather than backward! We are taking part in a battle - not the WWII Battle of the Bulge but we are in the battle of THE bulge! No war is won by the soldiers giving up the fight!

Let's become effective FAT FIGHTERS! And may our motto be - NEVER GIVE UP - NEVER SURRENDER to our enemies:

feelings of disappointment

failures

our past binges

indiscreet eatings

comments other have made, like Oh no not dieting AGAIN!

storecupboard malfuntions (pop stars have wardrobe malfuntions and we have store cupboard ones)

blue days/down days

cravings

temptations

*into the trash can with these* **opens trash can lid and throws them in**

Let's show 'em what we're made of - strong stuff! We can win this TOGETHER!

Keeping track

There's a fab site on the net (which I may have mentioned before) - it's a site where you log all of your food and exercise! You can set your own daily calorie allowance (I set mine at 1400), log everything you eat and keep an eye on the amount of calories you take in!

So far (including a few blips) I have lost 20lb - want to lose another 6lbs in  3 weeks but not sure I will - have to be mega-focussed and disciplined!

Onward and downward
