Oh dear

I've gained 3lbs over the past week - that's THREE pounds! Let's evaluate things:

1) Not been doing a lot of exercise - had a week off from work therefore not been walking so much and not been doing many DVDs
2) Bought some liquorice - big mistake, been eating it in between meals - have thrown it in the bin
3) Have been eating a small bowl of cornflakes before bed
4) Ate too much at my parents' house yesterday

Getting back on track

1) Actually take notice of what I'm eating - don't shove just anything in my mouth!
2) Plan my meals instead of taking a look in the cupboard at what I have
3) Stick to the menu plans
4) Exercise for 30 minutes (at least) per day
5) Buy the correct food

Goal from today!

Lose 14lb by the end of June (seems like a steep goal but it can be done with discipline and dedication!)

Chorizo rice

Oooo I bought some Chorizo sausages from M&S the other day and decided to make a rice dinner - a simple rice dinner!

So I cooked some rice, dry friend the chorizo, threw in a can of bamboo shoots, mushrooms and sweetcorn,- yummy !The sausages are rather fattening though at 160 cals per sausage - I cut up 6 sausages to serve 4 of us!

It's OK for a change :)

  • That puff pastry pie you've been longing to try

  • Lethargic, can't be bothered

  • PROCRASTINATION (remember tomorrow NEVER comes)! (that's in capitals for me because I am good at procrastinating!
Come on fellow dieters - you CAN do this! Honest - you CAN!
